Founder & PresidentMichael is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran with a decade of experience in Search & Rescue and Maritime Security. He has translated his background in high-pressure decision-making into the private sector, founding Five Borough Veterans to strengthen NYC’s veteran community through advocacy and peer support. Additionally, as the founder of CitySafe, Michael focuses on empowering civilians and organizations with the strategy and skills needed to respond effectively to emergencies before first responders arrive.
Isra Pananon Weeks
Vice PresidentIsra is a mission-driven leader with nearly 20 years of experience across the military, government, and nonprofit sectors. A macro social worker and U.S. Army Reserve Civil Affairs Officer, she specializes in building inclusive, thriving veteran communities through connection and opportunity. From her time as a presidential appointee at the Department of the Interior to her work in DEIB and organizational change, Isra blends strategic vision with human-centered advocacy to deliver practical, life-improving programs for veterans and their families.
